Oral Communication in the Asian Context

Teaching oral communication can be not only challenging, but also difficult
unless new techniques are introduced. This paper will talk about the framework
of task-based learning and give a definition of the word task. In addition,
some principles that can help teachers select and devise useful classroom
activities will be introduced. Furthermore, it will also discuss how task-based
learning can be applied to the teaching of oral communication through video
in the new era.
