Projects of the Internet TESL Journal
Charles Kelly, Lawrence Kelly
Aichi Institute of Technology, Japan
This presentation will introduce the ongoing projects of The Internet
TESL Journal http://www.aitech.ac.jp/~iteslj/.
This free web journal, which began in 1995, has articles, lesson plans,
teaching techniques, lists of ESL links for teachers and students
along with various ongoing projects. All pages on the site are optimized
for speed (images only when absolutely necessary and minimal HTML), so
even with a slow connection you can get the pages quickly. Many teachers
from around the world have contributed.
This poster session will show how to use these projects online, how
to print and use them in traditional classes and how you can contribute
to the projects. These projects include: Self-study quizzes
for ESL students; crossword puzzles for ESL students; jokes for the ESL
classroom; conversation questions for the ESL classroom; and games
and activities for the ESL classroom.
