Hi. I just came back from the PAC 2 conference and I want to thank you so much for sharing from your hearts. It was energizing, thought provoking and moving. I am the guy who came up with the really cool idea to help you get the ESL teachers you all agreed you needed so desperately. Do you remember? About not trying to get "Native" speakers, but instead getting cheaper, and perhaps more relevant, teachers from China, Korea, Japan, and all over Asia, empowering Asians to learn "the language of communication" as opposed to a particular "western accent." It's such a wonderful idea that I'm thinking I would like to have a graduate class from Korea do their ESL practicum in another country. Wow, I'm still excited. Please write me back and let me know what you think. I mean if this is really as innovative as I think it is, then you should be able to see the wisdom of it also. Please give me you invaluable input. Would you be willing to help make it happen in your country? Say helping ten students come and do a summer intensive in association with your school and help with host families, etceteras? I mean if it's really a good idea, let's do it! With Love, Mike
