Conversation

Utilizing the Information Super Highway for teaching English as a second
or foreign language is becoming increasingly popular. The web offers a
variety of topics to satisfy a diverse audience, it is versatile in its
use, and it is motivating. Through the Internet, learners are exposed to
authentic language that is constantly updated. Finally the Internet enhances
student autonomy by giving students the opportunity to manage their own
learning. This paper will present the web-assisted language learning approach
designed to guide ESL/EFL students through their exploration of the WWW
and help them carry out web-based projects that will ultimately encourage
and support them to practice English conversation.
