The Impact of Phonics on Children learning a Second Language

Does phonemic awareness and phonics knowledge help students learn to
read and write English as a Second Language? It will explore
the impact of students' phonemic awareness and phonics knowledge on learning
to read and write English as a second language. The research regarding
the role of phonology in reading will be discussed, and suggestions for
the implementation of phonemic awareness and phonics activities will be
presented.
